Hey, Today I got windows 8 Pro and I switched from Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 531s and I backed up my files and got it running. then I tried Minecraft on it. I launched it and it had a error message and I looked through the minecraft forums about this and found nothing. I use minecraft weekly snapshots and haven't updated to 13w04a. PLEASE HELPHere is the message Bad video card drivers!

Ok bro, I made a system restore point like any smart person and got the driver and all that and when I restarted it booted up and it went into this weird loop where the compiter was turning my screen off and on so I tried rebooting again same thing.I tried going into safe mode but the F8 menu didn't popup. (BTW I dual boot with Ubuntu) and im stuck.

Moderatora quick google says the Dell Inspiron 531s has a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/dell-inspiron-531s/4507-3118_7-32486102.html
then you need to make sure windows 8 is using the nvidia drivers and not windows drivers for the card
