Hey guys, I'm getting this error about a minute after I log in to my server:
Internal exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
Other people on the server also can't log in at all. I don't know if it's an issue with my server, or an issue with the client, so I'm starting here.
The game was working fine last night. I tried updating Java and redownloading the Minecraft Server, but again, I don't know where the issue is coming from so I don't know what to do to fix it.
Well, what I've done so far is completely deleted the server, my minecraft, and java and reinstalled them all. I saved the world folder, though. So, first I ran the server and tried it out with a new world. It ran fine. The minute I put my world folder back into the server, it won't work anymore. It just stays at "downloading terrain" and doesn't move... So I'm thinking it IS a server issue :/
