I am with my 2 friends and one of them opened his world to Lan my other friend was able to join it with no problem, then when I tried to join it doesn't exist, it's not on the list of Lan servers. We are all on the same Wi-Fi we all have PCs and we are all using the same version of vanilla Minecraft. However when I open my world to Lan it's on the list for them but when they try to join my world it says "connect: Address is invalid on local machine or port is not valid on remote machine"
Your PC security settings are blocking it. For the LAN game to show in the list, your PC has to accept the 'announcement' packet.
This could be your firewall, note that when you connected to the LAN if you told Windows it was anything except "Home", then the windows firewall will start blocking things.
