Not really sure if theres any other info you need if there any other info i can give let me know
I'll be playing the game and suddenly it starts chugging for no reason and gets bad enough that I can no longer play. If I wait it doesn't fix itself it just steadily gets worse until I'm forced to force it to close via ctrl-alt-del. Theres no warning or trigger whatsoever (ie it doesn't do it whenever it rains or destroy a certain type of block its completly random sometimes it happens when I'm just standing around).
Not sure what causes them but they make me have to restart the game theres no set time on them at all. Sometimes I can play for hours sometimes for minutes. Honestly I've got an above average computer and I've no idea how to fix this. I really need to because I'd love to play online but im lagging so badly its unplayable.
Currently I've tried running as admin, running in compatability mode for xp, and increasing the amount of ram that Java can use (I've got it set to 2048 bytes from the default 500 whatever). I'm at my wits end I love the game I love the game style but its unplayable for me. I have noticed that it tends to happen faster when I'm playing multiplayer and theres lots of buildings and such about (though this could be coincidence or me grasping for straws)
Has anybody heard of this/have a fix for this?
Also why the hecks my post all colored like this I havn't changed any of the settings on it all I did was copy the system stats from what I'd posted on the Steam forums.
And you have 64 bit Java installed? If you have both 32 & 64bit then minecraft could be running on the 32bit java. If you do have both, right click the launcher and under properties look at the java path the launcher is point at.
Do you play in window or fullscreen? Have you tried reducing your game settings to see if that helps?
I'm not playing in browser and I did read that it has issues in fullscreen, so I'm not doing either I'm about to attempt the 64 bit version (im unsure if i was running 32 or 64 before so I uninstalled and reinstalled just to be sure) I'll let you know the results.
Reduced settings definatly doesn't help whatsoever (I did attempt running everything at minimum just to see what happens). Where do I find the Java path under properties? I've gone through all 4 tabs and don't see anything about Java whatsoever

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..

Rubbish. Likely your experience is due to running older 32 bit programs and poor configurations.
