I've purchased Minecraft earlier today, but I've yet to actually play it. It asks me if I should update it, giving me "Yes" or "Not Now" as the two options. Both take me to loading/updating screens that do not move. The loading/updating bar freezes at the exact same place each time I reload. I Googled for solutions and I've tried everything, from updating Java, restarting my computer, getting rid of AVG, deleting the .minecraft folder, and redownloading the client. Nothing is working and I'm almost positive that it is not my computer in general.
I've also seen people saying that it took Minecraft a few days for it to work for them. I don't know what else to do?
