Mac OSX 10.8, latest java7. No mods at all at the moment, default launcher. This has been an issue ever since I started playing in the cracked client in beta 1.7.3. When I start minecraft, and the initial mojang splash appears, I like to maximize the window. As the screen switches to the main menu, parts of it display screenshots from my recent computer activity. I've been mildly interested in this before and have googled it, but it wasn't until yesterday that it revealed… personal stuff… in front of my little brother D':. An explanation to what the heck this is and how to make it stop would be greatly appreciated.
Not being a Mac user myself, I can only assume this is an activity that the OS is doing in the background that is primed to be displayed if the proper command is entered and that for some reason it is temporarily showing as the OS hands the display over to Java. I would look at any security/browsing/recent activity/search bar oriented settings that may be on by default.
I don't suppose I can get you to show us a screenshot of what your brother saw.
This is a frame buffer thing. A graphics buffer is being displayed with the last information that was in it, prior to the new information being put in. This kind of thing can often be seen when your display's mode is switching.
WELL, I had been [email protected] so yeah, they saw... that. The screenshots are inside the minecraft launch window, displayed in short and wide rectangles that kind of jumble together and form the image. It's always of what I was doing in the same sitting as I play.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
You could have a virus of sorts, considering, if what you are telling us is true, that there is no way an unmodified minecraft client could do this.
