When I play minecraft, It lags like crazy, which makes it really hard to play, and makes all other applications on my mac laggy. I usually need to force quit it. I play it on Mac OS X Lion. Please Help!

What Mac is it?
If it's Mid-2007 (iMac) or below or 2009 Macbook/Pro then I understand your lag.
I've used a Mid-2007 iMac. It was okay at lower resolutions.
Might want to use OptiFine.

Still try Optifine and turn the fullscreen resolution down and play in fullscreen. It won't look much better, but you'll be capable of better settings.
When I use fullscreen, it works pretty well, but when I try to exit fullscreen mode, the computer just displays a white screen, and I have to reset my computer by holding down the power button.
