For the past year or so, I have been unable to access my minecraft.jar and any of my minecraft folders on my Mac.
When ever I use the 'go to folder:' /library/application support/ to access my minecraft folders, minecraft is never there.
I have looked hundreds of times, and I have never been able to find any minecraft folders, although I have always been able to play minecraft.
Recently, I tried to solve the problem by deleting all of my minecraft folders I could find, including my noteblock sounds etc. And my actual minecraft application.
Now, whenever I try to redownload minecraft and put it into m applications folder, it says that I can't put it anywhere except my trash.
Wha do I do to get minecraft back? How can I fix my problem?
Thank you in advance for any help any of you give me
To make the Launcher usable, you need to turn down GateKeeper in System Preferences.
It's just that Mojang hasn't yet got a certificate on the .app launcher.
Instead of /Library/Application Support, it's ~Library/Application Support
Hope this helps.
Thank you! it works!
I've been trying for a few weeks, so thank you!
