Hello; as the title of this post suggests, I can't run a LAN server in 13w03a. When I open the server to LAN, it hosts it as 0.0.0.0:#####, and continues to run. However, when someone connected to my internet source tries to connect to it, it doesn't recognize the IP at all. I've tried this many times, and it has yet to work.
Is this a bug in 13w03a, or am I doing something wrong?
I have used LAN before and it works just fine.

Yes, a LAN server is open for anyone connected to your internet service. Basically, your house. My brother, who is connected to my internet service and can always get on my LAN servers, cannot connect now, using the snapshot.
Well, the main thing you need to do is find out your internal ip address. Replace that for the 0.0.0.0 part. Still add the part after the colon (including the colon) to join though.

you didnt do anything wrong, LAN is mean PRIVATE server.
