ive been working on a custom map and i had a command block tp you, and as retarded as they are, it completely screwed up the coordinates. now i cant find my map and of course minecraft autosaves every 3 seconds. is there a way i can go back 1 save so i dont have that?
To back up a save, you simply go to (assuming you're on Windows) %appdata%/.minecraft/saves and then copy the folder you want to backup.
You're not asking about backing up...
Let's see what the others have to say.
This is generally referred to as rolling back or reverting the file to an earlier version. In windows this is done through the System Protection feature which, wouldn't you know it, is not enabled by default. You have to enable it and configure it to create "restore points" which are basically a collection of files you specify that were backed up at a specific time.
Once it is setup the way you want, you simply right click a file or folder and click 'Restore previous versions' and it presents you a list of available restore points.
