I like to set up command blocks and timers for my creative worlds to keep them perma-day, but almost every time I've done that, it goes into some sort of weird twilight after a dozen or so time sets. The sun and moon disappear, and it's dark enough for mobs to spawn at any time I set it to from then on.
I haven't been able to get this to stop happening, and haven't found anyone else who's had this problem and fixed it (partially because I don't know what to search for). Obviously going into peaceful gets rid of the mobs, but the inexplicability of the whole thing really bothers me. Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution?
Running most recent snapshot right now, but it was true of the pre-1.4 snapshots as well.

No idea what's up, but with brightness turned to max and in peaceful, I'm fine for now. Would love for an explanation/fix, though.
