So I have the lkatest java installed on windows 7 64 bit.
I downloaded the launcher from the minecraft.net website for windows.
I double click it, and nothing happens.. it starts up something (No gui).. puts up a busy cursor
and then just sits there.
Any ideas? Where can I start troubleshooting this? I dont get any error messages.
I f ound the .minecraft folder which I deleted a couple times.
I ran the test script people recommend. Just sits there. Never pops up a login box. or anything for that matter..

Hey I am having the very same issue. When I click on minecraft to launch it nothing happens. I update my java and still nothing happens. I also am running a 64 bit OS. FUnny thing is when I install the 32 bit java it works fine, but I cannot allocate enough ram to the game. It will run very very laggy. I am not sure whats going on. HELP!
