i just got minecraft so i pressed download and it get me to the launcher and i type my username and password but when i click log it it doesn't work it says cannot connect to minecraft.net please help
dude don't panic. I just checked the Mojang support center (http://help.mojang.com/), and it says that the login service is down. This happens to all of us, and it is nothing to be worried about. Just try again in a few hours and you should be okay.
