So, lately I have been playing Minecraft regularly with absolutely no problems, until the 1.3.2 update. Now whenever I begin to play, I get extreme lag causing my framerate to drop to 5 - 10. And I even get slow chunk loading, I have all the settings to the lowest possible, tried using Optifine (which helps), Minecraft Tweaker, but nothing really seems to help. Is there any program that would help reduce the lag? If anyone out there has some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated if they reply. Here are my computer specs if they would be of any use. Thanks in advance. -iBlok_

Well, im not to much of a tech pro, but I had this problem recently and I solved it by upgrading to 8gb ram. It helped a lot, I dont even have to use optifine. You could have to many things running in the background, I turned some of those things off and it helped my computer run faster. Mostly when my computer runs slow, I turn it off for a bit then restart it with nothing open. This may not be useful, but im just trying to help through my experience.

I have the newest version of Java installed, (64bit) and whenever i'm playing I never have anything running on my PC except Minecraft. Some people say that setting the affinity to just 1 processor core helps? I've tried that but it never really does anything helpful.
I have the exact same problem! I'm currently on Windows Vista 32 bit with Java 32 bit. It runs fine for a while, but then eventually it just persists at 0 fps and 0 chunk loading. Anyone else have a solution?
