Whenever I venture into the Taiga biome, wolves will suddenly appear by me and follow me around. If I keep walking through the biome, more wolves will suddenly appear by my side.
The only 'tame' thing they do is teleport to me if I'm too far.
They wont attack mobs for me, and if I hit one of them they will all chew my face off. If I re-spawn after that, they'll still be angry with me (red eyes and growling), but they'll just follow me around. And yes, they do re-spawn with me. >:[
Every new world I make, this happens. Deleting all my mods, using a fresh new bin and force updating doesn't work either. I've never even tamed a wolf since installing the game again this month (I previously played with a different computer, didn't import any saves or anything). Google searches only come up with other people having the glitch and nobody knowing how to fix it.
How can I get rid of these foul beasts? D: I can't have a sheep farm because they eat my poor sheep, lol. I can't even shear the wild ones before the foul creatures eat the poor thing.
And it can be a real challenge taking on 8+ wolves when I'm not properly equipped (not that I enjoy wasting my armor and weapon durability on them).
I just have Mo Creatures and Optifine, but I got rid of all my mods and tried a fresh forced updated jar afterward and that didn't fix it. I think I may have even started having this problem before I got Mo Creatures, but I can't remember. I rarely ever go to the Taiga biome.
Java? Er, well I just updated it this morning actually. So whatever the lastest version is. I don't know how to check the version number. Though I'm looking at the download page (I figured it'd show the version there) and it just says "Version 7 Update 11".
