Hello all! My name is silencedchaos and I have been getting an error when I try to run Minecraft and Fraps simultaneously. In order to launch Fraps I have to change my hardware acceleration to the "fullest" setting possible but, I have to switch it back to disable Direct3D accelerations (3rd Setting) in order to run Minecraft. I used to be able to switch back and forth between Fraps and Minecraft fine however, when I launch Fraps now and attempt to launch Minecraft the screen turns black. I have already made sure my video card drivers are up to date but, I really need to get Fraps and Minecraft up an running together in order to record for my YouTube channel! Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated!

Fraps isn't that great for recording. There are much better recorders and editors out there.

I find it unlikely that you have 99GB of ram
Personally, I like Camstudio. Though for editor I have Adobes' CS6 package for media editing.
Yes, I agree, Camtasia Studio is way better than fraps.
I just tried Camtasia Studio and I can't record HD videos without lagging. You see my computer is quite old and I cant seem to do anything about it to make it run programs faster. When I record with Camtasia or Cam Studio it causes lag in Minecraft.
1GB of system ram?
accounting for the ram windows will be using, and then what minecraft uses, you prob don't have a great deal left for recording software to do much in memory which will cause issues, if you can get more ram

I put .99GB if you look closely
