This feature has worked in the past, but now does not. I've tried the "/" and "T", but doesn't work. I've spend hours trying to research this and no luck. There's no live person to help with Minecraft. Very frustrating! If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
hit esc and look in the options at the keyconfig, chat maybve somehow been changed to something else, or had its key link removed for some reason
Thank you for response. I checked the keyconfig and they're correct. Under command it says "slash" and under Chat says "T". It's so strange because the black text bar comes up only when in a bed.
