At certain angles, the left side of the 1st person view hand turns black. Other times, the sides of mobs and dropped items do the same. I am running on a new MacBook Pro, and on my old desktop Mac (2007 model) the error never occurred.
MacBook specs:
OS X 10.8.2
2.9 Ghz Intel Core i7 (2 Cores)
8GB RAM (2 4GB cards)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 Graphics card
Old Mac:
OS X 10.6.x
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 (2 Cores)
2GB Ram
ATI Radeon 2600 Pro Graphics card

please post screen shots of the error as its hard to diagnose without a simple description
