Recently I have been having fps issues in Minecraft. About two weeks ago I would get 25+ fps vanilla. With Optifine I would average around 40 fps and max at about 70 fps. Recently, however I am lucky to average 15 frames with Optifine. I have tried lowering settings, but nothing really changes. I don't think it's a heating issue either. My computer makes no noise when I play. Also, I don't think it has much to do with the new updates of Minecraft as Tekkit which runs on 1.2.5 has greatly slowed down recently too. I'm having a hard time understanding what has been happening recently to cause such fps decrease.
