Okay, this is a bit of a complicated problem. I have a vanilla, unmodded game and I've never touched this world's saved files. So one day in my survival world I got a chuck error in my world (the chuck was completely missing) : terribly placed, but I was willing to deal with it. But a few days after that Minecraft would begin to freeze up when I tried to play that world and wouldn't let me, it would just boot me back to the home screen or crash. The one time it did finally let me in, it wasn't loading properly and was very lagged up and slow, and the chucks weren't loading fast enough to even walk around. I still am not able to access the world and also want to get rid of the chunk error. I put a ton of time into this world so I would appreciate any help you can give me very much! Thank you!

Thank you both so much!! My world is fixed and playable again and I made my way back home! The chuck error is still there however. Like I said: I'll be able to deal with having it but if you have any suggestions for how to get rid of that I would appreciate it very much!
Thank you again!!
Nevermind, not all is as it seemed. I've been experiencing problems the more I play. Besides the chunk error I have also seen some other issues. Before loading the world, it puts my into the void, I do not die, but after a few minutes I just appear in my world. The area around the chunk error/my mine also seems to have some sort of lag issue whenever i am in the vicinity (or that chunk maybe?). It takes longer for the right click command to work on doors and chests, and the sinking sun is in a loop! It will sink for about a minute then start over where it had originally been. That means endless day so no monsters and I can't sleep because its day. What do I do now??
