Has anyone experienced this? Whether I cap the framerate in the client itself, or a third party program, the mouse drags when I move the character and the mouse at the same time. Oddly enough, if I'm standing still, the 'dragging' doesn't happen, it's only when I'm walking/running at the same time.
I've tried re-downloading a fresh client(deleted the appdata minecraft folder), bought a new mouse(updated drivers too), and even tried it on a different computer...all with no change. I even tried capping the framerate in the NVCP.
Obviously, switching to Max FPS fixes it, but my comp runs minecraft waaaaaay too high of a framerate, and is destroying my card in temps. I need to cap the framerate to keep the temps down. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Minecraft doesn't run on your GPU, it runs on your CPU. Very little things like texture mapping, are done by the GPU. Everything is else is processed through the CPU. You might want to take a look at MSI Afterburner, which i used on my ATI Raedon 5770 to set manual fan control. I'm not sure why your card is running so hot, mine runs at just above 10% usage, and i use 128x texture pack on far.
The framebuffer runs through the GPU, does it not? My card does not get hot unless I am running really high framerates, and Minecraft is the only game that runs my card hot.

Yes, but it doesn't use enough of your GPU to make it that hot. If that were the case, games like skyrim and ARMA 2 would make your GPU literally melt.
My GPU ([email protected]) Runs at just above 10%, and it maintains 29 degrees Celsius. You should try playing around with hardware acceleration in NVCP, because this really sounds like a graphics card error, or try using a fan control program.

I appreciate the advice, and have looked into running the fan manually, which definitely helped with the temps. I would like to still run the game at a capped framerate(mainly for recording purposes), and the mouse still 'drags' while moving and looking around. Has anyone experienced this? And, is there any fix? I see other videos where people have the framerate capped for recording, and they have no issues like the one I'm experiencing.

Well, this really does sound like an option in nvidia. Have you tried turning on triple buffering? When i get home, i can post a screenshot of my configuration in NVCP and you can try and see if that works.
I have tried triple buffering, and while I usually play minecraft without vsync, I tried it with it on and it's still the same result. I would appreciate seeing your NVCP settings though! Thank you very much!
