Shift double click?
for what?
Also, just buy the game if you only use snapshots.
If this is a bug, lease post it on the wiki bug page, that why snapshots are here, to help find these kind of things.

haha wow, friendly community here. I bought the game, thanks.
Hey, exxa. I am having the same issues. My Shift+Double Click stopped working in 13w02a. I never saw it's removal mentioned in the snapshot summaries. My regular Double Click to create a whole stack still works.
Also, I noticed one of the bugs fixed in 13w02a was the double click speed in the gui being bugged. I don't know if this has anything to do with what's going on. I have changed my mouse click speed in WIndows 7, but nothing happened.
I've looked for settings in the config files, but no luck. I hope someone can resolve this issue for us.

1. Your knowledge of the question asked was inadequate. Shift+Double Click was a feature added in a snapshot. Since this was the fundamental question of OP's issue, you added zero helpfulness to the thread.
2. Your advice about bug tracking was technically incorrect, but at least appropriate in spirit. This is a bug and should be reported. However, the bug should be thoroughly researched (which OP was attempting to do), and then posted first to the bug tracker. Updating the wiki page is a great third step, but not 1 or 2 as per above. Since this could have helped the thread if it was correct, but was instead misleading, it took away helpfulness from the thread.
3. Your comments and suggestions about purchasing the game, whether or not he owned the game presently, are wholly inappropriate. OP didn't say he needed help getting a legit copy of MC Vanilla. Assuming you aren't the proof-of-purchase assesment/enforcement arm of Mojang, and knowing 100% that buying the game wont fix Shift+Double Click, you again have taken helpfulness from the thread.
4. Finally, your dismissiveness and your lack of effort in solving OP's issue creates the appearance of a hostile, unfriendly forum populated by people who might as well post random characters which convey no useful information. I'm not saying that's who you are, but that makes at least two of us who see your post that way. (Please see the following.)

If you had never responded--which IS OK--the OP's situation would be exactly the same, if not better. I hope you understand the sincerity of this post. I'm not trying to start a fight or be rude. I'm sure you really did mean to help. It just didn't work out this time.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
