I accidentally deleted the minecraft icon on my iMac. I still have all the minecraft files in .minecraft, but I just don't have the shortcut. How can I make another shortcut, or open up minecraft without the shortcut? I don't want to have to download minecraft again, so help would be greatly appreciated.
Also on a Mac here. By going onto minecraft.net and clicking download now, it downloads the launcher, aka the Minecraft icon, and from there it accesses the files which is already stored in your computer. You didn't delete the entire game, only the launcher. If you get a new one, it will be all normal and fine again.

Some picture I found on the internet
It is nothing more than an icon and downloader, it will do exactly the same as what you deleted.
