Ever since the most recent update, (1.4.7), my minecraft has not been working properly. It seems that my shift key does not work with chests. I try to shift click and nothing happens. I have heard of something called a shift lock which turns on from hitting both shift keys at the same time. To undo the action, you simply click the left shift key; this did not work for me. I then tried to see if my entire shift key did not work by crouching in game, and crouching worked just fine. I do not know if this has to do with the shift key, but my mouse is also acting up. For instance, I made a random creative world to see if I would be able to resolve any of these problems and I tried to click a block, and my mouse didn't pick it up, meaning I would have to drag the block into my inventory in order for me to use it. I have tried to restart my computer, as well as removing Minecraft completely from my computer and they both did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.It should be noted that I am using a Mac.
P.S. I tried looking at my controls and it said that sneak is the left shift.
I have fixed the problem. For any future problems with this, go to your minecraft folder. In that folder, there should be an file called: options.txt. Delete that and open your minecraft again, thus fixing the problem.
