Um. My friend has gotten Minecraft for christmas PC version so not that long agp. I have it as well but on my computer don't have any problems with it. But on her computer the Ram is a 32-bit. and she has been having crashes. low memory. errors. you name it we have problems...ever since she downloaded minecraft

I have tried everything that i could to help her. I've tried updating her java so now she has java 7.
I have tried doing a .Bat file where i allocate java memory.
i have re-downloaded minecraft.
I have tried Optifine

and we still have these problems of low memory crashes and errors!

She has Windows XP

So any help would be great at this point. Because by now don't know what to do. other than telling her to get a new computer.... lol

You mean the CPU is 32-bit, yes?

First, I would check the system specifications. To do that, press the Windows key and R simultaneously to open the "Run" box, then type "dxdiag" and hit enter. Once it finishes, post the "Processor" and "Memory" lines from the results that pop up.

I'm guessing that the computer doesn't have enough RAM to run Minecraft properly.

Windows XP may be the problem considering how old it is. It might not have the capacities for gaming that Vista or Windows 7 or 8 has.

Get a new java
