Since I'm new to Minecraft, go easy on me. I downloaded the new snapshot and installed it. However, Minecraft Launcher continually freezes at the loading screen. The display says "Updating files" while the loading bar states that it is done loading. What am I doing wrong?
Try force updating. How you do this is by going into Options and clicking on Force Update, then it would say Will force!. Then you just close the options screen and then log in.
