When I move and punch/Place a block my player stops moving and I have to press "W" again.
My Mouse is a Razer Naga Epic 2012 and my Keyboard is a Razer Black Widows Ultimate. (Yes, I really like Razer ).
this has been happening to me too ever since 1.5.1. it is really annoying!
EDIT: on the wiki it said that if you go it Full-screen mode (F11) it may fix the problem!
EDIT 2: Just force update your minecraft and it should fix it.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.

No, that didn't work, I have feeling it's something to do with the way my equipment has been been configured.
