Ok so I've been for the last hour and so trying everything I can possible find on the internet to try and fix my minecraft issue. I can load the launcher but once it finishes loading the screen goes black and it freezes. I never see the Mojang icon upload or anything. Here is a list of the things I have tried doing already

• uninstalling and reinstalling Java (i was running a lower verison of java, figured that might work)
• deleting the bin folder in the .minecraft folder
• deleting the entire .minecraft folder and minecraft.exe then redownloading from minecraft.net
• seeing if my drivers had an update (nope no new updates available)
• deleting just the texture folders
• force updating
• deleting bin and resources folder

I am using a Windows XP computer and i used to be able to run it just fine on this computer but it's been a few months since the last time I ran it and now it doesn't work. Yet it works just fine on my computer which is running windows 7.

Does anyone else know of something I can try to do to try and fix this issue I am having. Because I am at the end of my rope here.

Any help at all? I really wanna be able to play minecraft on my downstairs computer with my friends

I went to the device manager and right clicked on them and selected update driver.
