Hello, my problem is that when I get on to my world that ive spend 3-4 months on, minecraft crashes for no apparent reason. I join the world and my minecraft closes leaving me with an error report on my desktop. I had no mods when this started occuring and this isnt the first world ive lost to this problem. If anyone could help me find a solution that would be very helpful. Thanks!

yes I have Norton. thats never caused a problem in the past though

Does this only happen on the one world then? Does it crash right away when loading?

yep. Its happened to two of my worlds but not all of them

Just an idea, if you haven't resolved this already. Try uninstalling all 64 bit java versions and install/update to the latest 32 bit version.
