I have not played minecraft in a few months and decided to log on today to play. I upon logging in, I received a request to update my client... which failed with the following error: Fatal Error Occured (4): null
I have deleted the folder completely from username/library/application support/minecraft, as well as removing the zip and client afterwards. I have reloaded minecraft... attempted to force update and still received the same errors. I have even tried removing all of the aforementioned and tried playing via the browser and STILL get the same error. Any help here guys?
Many of the solutions I find to this point to user permissions or a PC/network security program causing this. Sorry I can't be more helpful but I know zilch about Mac's.
