So, I was playing Minecraft (obviously) and was working on transporting all the items from my old house to a new house. I decided to pick up the Music Disc player with a diamond pickaxe enchanted with Efficiency 4 and Unbreaking 3. The game froze for a moment and then crashed. I thought, "Well, that's too bad. I'll just have to open the game again. But by doing so somehow and a new chuck was placed where part of my house was!
Also, this world has almost always had random chunk errors but they were always really far away. I have a collection of screenshots if anyone is interested. I was hoping if someone could explain why this happened and if there is a way to reverse it. Thanks
There is no way to reverse it. This problem happens when
1) Chunks dont get saved
2) Chunks are corrupted, and the game is forced to delete them. Next time you enter the area, the chunk is regenerated as if it is the first time you have ever been there, similar to walking into a new area.

That explains some of it. Although I've used this world for who knows how long so at several points that chunk should have saved. Also the chunk that appeared is completely different from how it originally looked way back when i first started the world. So, I have no idea if maybe the world generator was replaced since when the world was generated. Thanks for responding though
If the chunk appeared differently after corruption and replacement, you've got even deeper problems to worry about., because it sounds like your seed got corrupted/changed.
Odds are you will have more problems in the future. Sorry Dude.
