Okay, I have a brand new computer, and I want to play Minecraft. The problem is, I got a "Bad video card!" error message. My questions are:
1. What video card that supports Minecraft?
2. Can I change from an Intel video card to Nvidia?
And one more thing, I have a PC, and my current video card is Intel® G41 Express Chipset.
Here is the error message:
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Also I tried getting an "Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD (Core i3)", which works for my friend, but it says I didn't meet the requirements. Help?
Looks like that processor is supposed to support OpenGL, try updating your drivers like it tells you to. If your drivers are up-to-date and you still get an error, someone else may have to give you advice since I'm not very familiar with laptops. I know they make external dedicated video cards but I'm unsure as to how useful they actually are.

If so you might try lowering your hardware acceleration in the display settings and see if that helps.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Troubleshoot
Full hardware acceleration is the one causing this problem. c:
