I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this, but don't post too much on the forum so i'm sorry..
My problem is that I always play minecraft on one world and one world only. It was generated before there were even Iron golems and therefore has nothing like emeralds and (soon to be) Nether quartz. I found a way to get around the emerald problem (i have a city so I just make emeralds the daily "tax") But I want to actually have to find the Nether quartz.
I guess my question is, is there a way I can re-generate the nether? a file I could delete in the .minecraft? I know I could get a mod where I could basically select my entire city and move it to another world... But I'd REALLY prefer not to have to do something that drastic. (It is a MASSIVE area I have built on) So is there even a different mod or something that would basically erase the Nether I have now and re-generate it?
And hell, best-case-scenario would be if there is a mod where I can select an area and instead of copying and pasting it, I could re-generate that entire area.
