I have a toshibea laptop with windows 8 intel Core i3 prosser but yet ... laggy

Sometimes it brings up the java memory error but i just want to know how to make it less laggy

You can always set the render distance shorter, turn all your video settings to fast, etc. This should help a bit at least.

I also highly reccomend this mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-146-optifine-hd-a3-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/

Its called optifine and it adds a lot more preformace tweaking options, most of it is self exlanatory once installed.
