Actually today I got the recent Snapshot for testing and The flickering thing happened because the lack of Optifine, I want a way to stop it with Vanilla Miencraft So I need help again
After you open the game, go back into your desktop and ctrl + alt + del. In the Applications tab find Minecraft Launcher, right click and select 'Go to process' which will you take you to Javaw.exe in the Processes tab (it's much faster this way to find it imo). Adjust the priority and affinity in different ways and see how it affects the game for you.
Don't worry, you wont break it. In fact the priority and affinity go back to default after you close the game and open it again.
I don't know why you wouldn't want Optifine though, lol.

My posts will always have typos and that fact will always drive me crazy.

I was actually thinking of this and about optifine sometimes its not compatible with things or I'm using a snapshot whats why I want to know if I can do it in vanilla
Playing windowed can cause this issue for some PC environments because a window is handled much differently under DWM. Sometimes it's a matter of how you've resized the window, for example stretching it out to fit your screen.
I have the same problem. My problem is a little different. My inventory and my gui flickers the most. Sometimes when it flickers I can even see a glimpse of item textures. It's really weird. I had optifine I deleted it and the problem still continues. I really need help.
