A little while back I left Ubuntu so that I could switch back to Windows, and try out the neat new Windows 8. But then, when I launched Minecraft, this happened:
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

My computer is a Fujitsu Lifebook A6120, and it was made back when Vista was new. I know that the hardware is fine, it ran Minecraft on Ubuntu just fine, and I know that this device is dependable. This device has lasted me quite a while.
Can anyone help? My alternative is to dual boot Windows 8 and Ubuntu, but even that has its risks. I just want to be able to play Minecraft again!!!
I tried that. The thing is, I cannot find drivers, and NOTHING is working. I wanted to see if anyone could help... If not, it might just be that the computer is just too old. (Although it did work in Ubuntu fine).

Unfortunately, it's difficult to find graphics card drivers for laptops in general, because they use integrated things. Is dual-booting Ubuntu an option for you? If it's difficult for you, look into Wubi.
