Today, I have successfully played and enjoyed minecraft on a PowerMac G5. The only problem I have is sound. I know for a fact it has something to do with garyscode in the jar. I have replaced it with a 1.3 version and it works fine, except it crashes when the new minecart sounds are played. Just wondering if anybody has suggestions on how to fix that or if someone has compiled a new version of garyscode for ppc. I know it isn't supported, but I like PowerPC. And if anybody wonders, I have SoyLatte JDK7 for PowerPC and it doesn't have any problems with the rendering. Works better than my intel MacBook Pro (6 gig of RAM, 2.4 GHz). If anybody wants a tutorial about how to do this PM me. Thanks
