There is a wierd problem I have had since 1.4.6, It was fine in 1.4.5 but look at this image,

Have you tried turning opengl on or off? And is your graphics acceleration all the way up?

I fixed it. If you use Nvidia go to Nvidia Settings and go to Adjust Image With Preview and tick Let the 3D application decide.

it's on my laptop, so I can't do much. I'm not really bothered by it, it's just with water.
