When I'm playing minecraft, ive noticed that my laptop has a drastic drop in fps when i plug it in. When I'm running on battery i get ~120 fps, but when i plug it in, it drops to 8-15. Anyone know what could be causing theis.
I think your laptop is set to high-performance graphics mode for running on battery and low when running on the mains.
Don't have a laptop myself, but there should be some control on high-performance with/without being plugged in.
I saw that setting, but it was as it should be. It is set for battery save mode while running on battery and high performance when its plugged in
