So it has come to my attention that Minecraft has been rather choppy but it's not because of my computer and i can guarantee that because I've had it for a while now and it just started happening a bit less than a month ago. So here's what I'm complaining about. When I run Minecraft it will run fine around 60-70 fps if I've got some intense poop going on in background. If not probably around 100-120 fps. Minecraft is FINE by all means but I think something with my computer is going weird because whenever I do some sort of movement eg. walk forward (W key) as well as move my mouse which will move the camera, my Minecraft then chops up as long as I hold down that key. So whats happening is I'm walking forward endlessly and I CAN'T move my camera, but when I let go of the key I'm pressing everything is fine again. I can stand still and go move mouse all over the place, no problem. As soon as I start moving "Hey. Whoa what are you doing. You can't move. Are you kidding me? No you are now stuck until you stop moving." So that's whats happening. And I know this is it because I've put a sheep in front of me, then went crazy and the sheep was always moving with no chops. When I move the sheep has still got no chops but I do. It's not my mouse because it works fine with the famous first person shooter Team Fortress 2, but not with Minecraft. I'm pretty sure Minecraft will beat up Team Fortress 2 HARD, if it's a battle between who uses less space and who has the smaller requirements. So essestially what I'm asking you is 1) Why is this. And 2) How can I fix the problem with Minecraft. I've tried various things but since this is already getting long so I'm not going to list them, instead I will politely tell you if I have/haven't. Please by all means share what you have done to fix this, share what you think might help or fix this, etc. (This is the second post I've made about this except this explains better what is going on)
I don't really know why it happens.
P.S. TF2 is awesome.
I can't seem to download it because since there is a 2.8.5 if I click it, it then goes to tell me the latest stable release is 2.8.5 and only gives a link to download that one. Help?

Follow the instructions from Tedster

Alternatively if you wish to manually update to 2.8.4.
