Hey, my minecraft username is KillerKrabs, and I can't log in to minecraft. I already looked through all the account problems and pages in the other help sections and found nothing helpful. When I go to log in, everything works fine until it actually tries to log in. It just says, "Failed to log in," and nothing else. This isn't a problem with Java, my computer, or the launcher, as I can log in with ANY OTHER ACCOUNT. I was able to log in with Gizmo_magus, my brother's account.
Somebody suggested earlier that I need to connect to minecraft.net and play in browser to fix it. It didn't work, but more weird things happened. I connected with my profile to play in it, and I got a warning saying I'm playing with 32 bit Java, which is not true. I logged in with my brother's and this did not happen. It ran normally. When I tried to log in with the launcher again, I still could not connect with KillerKrabs, yet I could with Gizmo_magus. Is there ANYTHING I can do to fix this? I'm right about to ask them to deactivate my account and give my money back. This has been happening for a couple days now.
PS: If you want screenshots, please tell me how to add them. I honestly can't figure out how to use the "image" thing.
Edit: Before you say it, I've already re-installed, force updated, and everything else pertaining to the actual files and launcher.
I've been a premium member since way before migrating was necessary. None of my friends' accounts have been migrated either, and I can still connect with them.
I'll give it a shot though.
Edit: I've taken a look at account migration, and it seems people are having all kinds of hell with it. Is it necessary for old accounts to migrate just to log in?
I've ran into something weirder. If I log in to Vanilla via the Technic Pack, it allows me to log in once. It definitely registers my actual account because my custom skin shows. If I exit, I can't get back on unless I uninstall/resinstall technic. With minecraft, I just can't get on period. If I use a different modpack such as Tekkit, I have no problem. Skin works on there too.
Edit: Now minecraft freezes once started. No mods are installed and no changes have been made to anything. Happens only on my account, once again. It's getting a bit difficult to give details because something different seems to be happening every time. I'm just gonna take a break from MC for a few days. Hopefully it'll resolve itself. I'll hop on later to see if any solutions pop up. :/
Most likely that someone hacked your account's password.
Really? Considering the complexity of my password.. and the fact that I can log in to Minecraft.net, I'd say that's a no. Besides, I'm a paranoid SOB by nature and I change it often. Either way it doesn't matter. Like I hoped it was fixed after a few days of waiting.
