Minecraft Forums

I recently downloaded minecraft for Mac yesterday and when I played I noticed that some of the sounds were not missing but barely audible. Most of the sounds affected are related to stone such as mining it, walking on it, or breaking the block. However some of them are pretty general sounds like picking up broken blocks. I would like to know if anybody else is experiencing these problems and has a solution for me.
