Hi, I wanted to play minecraft with my friends tht are at my home connected to my ip.I started a LAN and no one could join it. Then i realized that something is wrong because I started the lan and it started on a ip similar to 0.0.0.0:----- the ----- standing for 5 numbers. So it stared with a 0 but it supose to start with 192 or like this. Please i really need help!
So get the IPv4 address, then append the port like is shown on the 0.0.0.0 address.
So, if your IPv4 address is 192.168.1.3 and it tells you 0.0.0.0:4987 (or some random number), then other people should direct connect to 192.168.1.3:4987

Retired StaffOpen command prompt and type ipconfig, then find the IP for IPv4 address and have people direct connect to that followed by the random port.
