So recently I got Windows 8, and I downloaded Minecraft right away. There wasn't a problem until probably two days ago. Whenever I tried changing my direction while I'm walking, running, or flying, it won't let me. I just go straight. I've tried everything I could think of. I tried changing my controls, seeing if I clicked something such as F8, I uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled it again, and then I forced an update. It still doesn't work. Help?
If you are using a laptop with a touchpad, many of the latest drivers disable the touchpad while the keyboard is in use, which prevents you from turning while moving. There should be an option in your touchpad settings to disable this.
I have the same problem, so I've tried to change the settings multiple times but I can't find these specific settings. (I have a Toshiba windows 8 touchscreen laptop.) Can you tell me exactly how to do this by any chance (what settings do I end up with and change)? Thank you so much!
