All of a sudden this game actually crashes now in vanilla minecraft.... I haven't played the game for about 8 months (got the game during alpha years ago even and never had a single crash with vanilla for years) and in 1.4.6 now every 25 - 50 mins I randomly get these green screen crashes locking up everything and some sort of .1 second sound repeat glitchiness and the comp will actually even restart successfully on its own after about 10 seconds, which I've never seen a freeze be able to do before now. the 3 or 4 times this has happened so for all I did is look around too quickly during rain or shift moved around an high edge high in the air. I tried turning off and on advanced opengl and using the fullscreen button in options instead of F11 but didn't help. There's no crash report that I see since game doesnt have a chance to make one it seems, but the minidump according to who crashed is the nvidia driver (310.70 latest one) something about it failed to reset the nvidia drivers.
I have 6 core amd phenom 1100T, 8 gigs ram, 570 gtx, and latest java version 7 update 10 and nvidia drivers. Don't know how they could have messed up vanilla like this in the past few months, game would probably run better with mods and an older minecraft version tbh..
when minecraft used to run out of memory in mod packs and stuff it would just show a crash report... not crash my comp. also there's no folder called "crash-reports" in "...\Roaming\.minecraft", like I said I never saw any crash reports this whole time.
Going to try moving the save games and just completely reinstalling the game and drive sweeping nvidia drivers since I did upgrade from beta drivers, but every other game has been fine with them thus far.
