I had the alienware m14x for 4 month and had no problems with minecraft. I usually get 120-200 fps but lately i started having fps drops that goes from 120 fps to 50 fps witch causes me to lag horribly. I recently update my java to 7 update 10 and i update my Nvidia drivers. I have also put my game to High-performance NVIDIA processor. Here are my specs: -intel® 8 Cores™ i7-3610QM CPU @ 3.3 GHZ

-12 GB of ram

-64 bit

-graphics card: GTforce GTX 650m

Also for some reason my i cant open my minecraft.jar

Any help would be appreciated.

i have also tried uninstlaing every thing and it still doesn't

i also think its the new update 1.4.6
