Hey guys. When I player Minecraft singleplayer I get respectable FPS (40-60) and there are no issues. However, when I play multiplayer (hosting a server through Hamachi) I experience incredible lag. The odd thing is that this isn't latency lag, though, I literally have FPS drops to around 3. I don't understand this issue. Why is playing multiplayer causing FPS drops?
I have tried:
1. Singleplayer. As noted before, I have no FPS lag in singleplayer.
2. Multiplayer over Hamachi hosting a server on my computer. Serious FPS issues.
3. Multiplayer over Hamachi with a friend hosting the server. Still, serious FPS issues.
4. Reducing graphics settings. This increases FPS in singleplayer, but multiplayer is sitll about 3 FPS.
