I bought minecraft earlier this year and it worked fine. But after an update I started experiencing a problem where if I try to break blocks it goes to the menu as if I pushed my ESC button. I tried figuring it out but have no idea. I thought it might be an external mouse but it does it without it as well.
Also I have issues where my character begins walking without me making it.
I haven't been able to play for months, so any help would be appreciated thanks.
I found a solution that worked for me but it's not a long term solution so unfortunately I won't be buying the game. What I found was that if I uninstalled Java 7 then installed Java 6 the problem went away. On updating to Java 7 the problem returns.

Retired StaffNo just a plain laptop mouse and my external mouse is standard as well with two bottons and a wheel.
