So, I was logging on to Minecraft today; when I logged on, the game told me that it was updating; even though I'm already at 1.4.6. It started updating at the last stages of updating, and the bar never moved; I have even attempted downloading Minecraft again; no dice.

I have not deleted the bin folder alone, but the enterity of minecraft. Let us try that. Also, I have no clue how to force update
