When I open the minecraft launcher, there are no problems. I log in, and the problems begin. My entire screen freezes. I can CTRL+ALT+DEL and open task manager. It shows that everything is running, nothing crazy happening with CPU or memory.
Recently, I followed some thread instructions for allocating more RAM to minecraft, but I couldn't get it to work so I erased all I had changed.
More recently, I downloaded MCNostalgia (the most recent version) to downgrade to 1.4.5 for a multiplayer server. I forced update to 1.4.6 when they updated the server. That's when I started getting java error messages on the multiplayer server. So, I deleted MCNostalgia, with no apparent change in the errors. Then, I removed and reinstalled both minecraft and java. After that, I started having the freezing problem stated above.

So...I reinstalled minecraft again after deleting all the files I could find. This, for some reason, worked the second time trying it. I guess that pressing fullscreen caused the problem.
I'm still getting this problem. I press log in, and it sits there frozen at Logging In. I tried deleting EVERYTHING! The whole .minecraft folder, even the minecraft launcher. someone please help?
